CEVA has been working with the Directors and Professionals of other area club to organize a city wide league in Charlottesville!
In previous years, this was organized by the USTA (United States Professional Tennis Association), but this year it is called Triple Team Pickleball and organized by the local programs with some of that registration money going to the local clubs and organizations! All of the money raised by CEVA will go towards improving the Darden Towe Courts.
In the last two years, Charlottesville has had 3 teams place 2nd at Nationals!
Winners of our local divisions will qualify for Nationals,
This year in Texas or Virginia!

Below you will see information on what Divisions we have chosen to promote as a community and what days have been selected for play in those divisions.
A minimum of 4 Charlottesville teams is necessary for a Division to run.
(This includes teams from other clubs)

- Co-Gender 3.5, Wednesdays - Start time 5:30 or 6:00
- Co-Gender 4.0, Wednesdays - Start time 5:30 or 6:00
- Women’s 3.5, Tuesdays - Start time 5:30 or 6:00
- Men’s 3.5, Tuesdays - Start time 5:30 or 6:00
- Women's 4.0, Thursdays - Start time 5:30 or 6:00
- Men's 4.0, Tuesdays - Start time 5:30 or 6:00
MATCH FORMATS & SCORING
SCORING (Regardless of Gender or Co-Gender):
- Each Match will be 3 Rounds.
- Each Round, players will play 2 games total (Not a best 2 out of 3).
- Two games to 11 win by 2.
- POINTS: Each game played can give a team a total of 2 points max.
- 1 point for scoring 6 points & 1 bonus point for winning the game.
- Let’s say JK beats JP 11-6. JK would get 1 point for getting the 6 and a bonus point for winning. JP would get a point for winning 6 points.

- After all matches are played, you add up all the points won across all games and rounds. Whoever has the most points wins.
- 1 point for scoring 6 points & 1 bonus point for winning the game.
- After each match is played, you will need to send your score cards to your Director or Coordinator. All matches will be entered into DUPR.
- POINTS: Each game played can give a team a total of 2 points max.
- Two games to 11 win by 2.
FORMAT: GENDER DOUBLES
- All team matches will be three (3) rounds of three (3) lines, two (2) games each.
- Gender teams will need a minimum of 6 players. Suggesting 8 players.
- Home teams STAY on the same courts for each round of play. Visiting teams SWITCH courts after each round.
