CEVA 2023 ANNUAL FUNDRAISER

Our annual fundraiser has launched for operational costs for the coming year. The fundraiser runs through the end of October 2023. This replaces annual membership fees that were waived last year, when we moved to a financial model that depends on paid programming and fundraising instead. The club requires annual funding for the following for the 2024 calendar year:
  • Maintenance and hosting of the website, www.centralvirginiapickleball.org
  • Mass email program used for monthly newsletter and special announcements
  • Insurance for events
  • Balls and other equipment we provide for events
The Club would like to raise additional funding for the following:
  • Heavy-duty wheeled portable pickleball nets (4) for the four pickleball courts at Darden Towe that are lined on the two remaining tennis courts
  • Additional paddle holders for Darden Towe courts
  • New squeegees for Darden Towe courts
Total Estimated Costs for the Above: $5,000
We recently jump-started our fundraising campaign with Pickleball and Picnic in the Park, where folks donated $250 while enjoying the afternoon of pickleball, corn hole, pickleball supplies, delicious food, and even more fabulous pickleball friends at the Darden Towe courts!

We hope you agree that this is a mission worth supporting and will donate to our fundraising campaign so we can maintain our current courts and work on expanding pickleball opportunities here in Central Virginia!
